# 7.1. Сustodians \ Treasury Co-Signers

**7.1.1. The final layer of security for our ecosystem's financial integrity.**

Custodians, also known as **Treasury Co-Signers**, are responsible for **securing, verifying, and authorizing transactions within our treasury system**. These individuals **hold multi-signature (multi-sig) authority**, ensuring that **funds are only moved with full consensus from trusted signers**.

**7.1.2.** **Key Responsibilities:**

✔ Signing off on treasury transactions to prevent unauthorized fund movements.

✔ Ensuring financial transparency and accountability within the DAO.

✔ Acting as a safeguard against fraud, hacks, and mismanagement of funds.

🚨 **Note:** Co-signers **do not control the treasury individually**—all transactions require multi-sig approval from multiple Custodians.
